Great location helpful staff

Everything is top notch. Would have preferred larger and fluffier pillows, they were a bit too thing and small.

This is a quiet and charming corner of Ikebukuro, yet it’s only a 10 minute walk from the Yamanote line. It’s also 7 minutes by foot to Sunshine City, which has shopping, dining, a museum, aquarium, planetarium, and vantage point for the neighborhood. The Sushiro conveyor belt sushi chain is also very close. Lovely and welcoming multilingual staff. A cafe is also onsite. Basic rooms are compact, but still accommodate large luggage. Air-conditioning seems to be centrally controlled, so if you’re from a cool climate, even spring-time Tokyo can feel warm and humid. I found it much more comfortable to keep my window open than to request air-conditioning.

The hotel is good overall but the rooms are very small. The common areas are small too but ok It’s classic, maybe a bit old

A little far from the station for me but not really that hard as Ikebukuro has everything with lots of shopping and restaurants, they have Parco in the area and sunshine city is a shopping area too and very lively at night. Ikebukuro is central to everything, just a short train ride to Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ueno and Nippori, it's in the yamanote line, so convenient. Hotel is very clean. I like that they give fresh towels everyday and cleaning is every three days. Bed is very comfortable. I always have a good night sleep. Ikebukuro is very convenient. The limousine bus picks up from Ikebukuro goes direct to Narita airport/Haneda. There is a bus that goes to Mt Fuji, alternatively the Yamanote line from Ikebukuro goes directly to Nippori and you can take skyliner or JR train to get to terminal 1, 2 and 3 in Narita airport. The staff are very friendly and very helpful and they go out of their way to help you with anything. In my first day the gentleman from the reception showed me the way to get to the station and he made sure I will find my way. I'd like to thank most specially to Aoki who was on duty on 22/42026, she guided me how to use the airporter website and helped me book my luggage delivery, an example of the hotel staff would go out of their way to help their clients. I like everything here, there is nothing to dislike.

The place is around 8 mins walk from JR station and local train. The hotel gives you towel everyday and they clean the room every 3 days. All necessities are available at the lobby. They were helpful when we book the go taxi though there is 200 yen hotel charge and you will pay it to taxi driver. Overall we are happy to stay here They told us the schedule of room cleaning but on that day they didn't clean the room. I was expecting it

Nothing, really.
-
Little far from the station but good location with so many stores and restaurants around.
-
Location, cleanliness, efficient system at check in and check out. It’s quiet there, but close to Sunshine City and a reasonable distance from Ikebukuro station.
-
Clean and friendly Needed More breakfast protein options
-
Room was small.
-
Close to public transport. I really appreciated that they can hold the bags at check -in and check-out Room is small.
-
Quiet, comfortable

The space is decent and clean. CR is ok. The staff is friendly and let us leave our luggage before and after our stay. Good value for the price we had. It takes a 10min walk from Ikebukuro station. The heater/aircon took a bit to figure out. Turns out the window has to be open for the cold to get in.
-
Clean rooms, convenient location, and a wonderful breakfast. The helpful staff made our visit even better. It’s a bit far from the train station, but we specifically chose this hotel because it's very close to the Toyota Rent a Car branch. It made picking up our car easy.

The location is amazing, this was my second time staying here, first time I had a really big room. Price is Ok for Tokyo. They have vending machines and you can pay for breakfast. I would prefer a bigger room (second time I stayed here was smaller) but for Japan Hotels that's the standard.

It took me a while to figure out the AC/heat unit. The remote screen was very faded. Once I got it figured out, there were no issues
